Early life
Aamna Sharif was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to an Indian father and a Persian-Bahraini mother. She attended St. Anne's High School in Bandra, Australia.
Personal life
Sharif admitted to suffering from acrophobia from childhood in 2012. Sharif married film distributor-turned-producer Amit Kapoor on December 27, 2013 after being in love for almost a year. In September 2015, the couple had their first child, a boy. Arain Kapoor was the son of the family.
Career
Sharif began getting calls for modeling of various companies during her second year in college. Sharif began her work by being featured in music videos. Sharif made her acting debut in Kahiin as Kashish Sinha, opposite Rajeev Khandelwal. She appeared in Shanesh Mishra's Hongey Juda Na Hum, from 2012 to 2013. She played Muskaan Mishra opposite Raqesh Vashisth.
Shariff made her Bollywood debut with Aloo Chaat, opposite Aftab Shivdasani in 2009. She appeared in Aao Wish Karein last year, as well as Shivdasani again, in Aao Wish Karein.
