Biographical film chronicling Dick Cheney's desire to become known as the most powerful Vice President in America's history. It is written and directed by Adam McKay who serves as a producer as well alongside Will Ferrell, Megan Ellison, Brad Pitt and others. It was originally titled Backseat.

Trivia

The movie is the second theatrical film depiction of the George W. Bush administration after Oliver Stone's W. The film is also the third collaboration between stars Christian Bale and Amy Adams who worked together on The Fighter and American Hustle. Bale and Steve Carell worked together on McKay's previous film The Big Short.
